Conveniently located in a modern medical office park in Sterling, Virginia, one block from Route 7 across from Northern Virginia Community College. Park in front of the spa.

Our Staff

All of our staff members have been certified by the Institute of Aesthetic Training for the procedures that they perform.

Mira Indorf, Manager and Certified Laser Specialist

Mira has lived in the Washington, D.C. area since 1985. In her earlier years, Mira worked as a chemist, a university instructor in chemistry and mathematics, and as a systems analyst in the information technology industry. Mira feels that she has always had a gift for healing people, so she made the decision to enter the health care field. She earned a nursing degree and has served in a variety of roles in the health care field, such as a sleep diagnosis technician, a youth counselor, an elder and hospice caregiver, and a clinical technician in a hospital.

Susan Warter, Certified Laser Specialist

Susan has degrees in dental hygeine and interior design. She worked in dental hygeine for several years and has operated her own interior design practice for many years. She finds her aesthetic sense useful in laser cosmetic therapy. Susan has three beautiful daughters and is very active in youth soccer and basketball.

Cindi Willingham, Certified Laser Specialist

Cindi is a Loudoun County native who worked as a dental hygeinist for many years before becoming a cosmetic laser consultant. She loves dancing, especially salsa.

Amy Nguyen, Certified Laser Specialist

Amy has a bachelor's degree in accounting from George Mason University and serves as Althea's accountant. She is a licensed cosmetologist and worked at a salon for 7 years before coming to Althea.

Daryl Abao, Spa Coordinator

Daryl's helpful nature, calm demeanor, and organizational skills will enhance your spa experience.
